Private beta · Solo music teachers

The whole teaching business, running from one corner.

ProPulse is the back-room app for independent music teachers. A page parents land on, a calendar students book from, a ledger that quietly closes itself, and a way to invoice that does not require quoting a payment link in a text thread at 9 pm.

One-click booking · Stripe-secured payment · Receipt the moment a lesson is paid

Before ProPulse

The hidden tax of staying scattered. Six logins, none of them quiet.

Most teachers who reach ProPulse already have a stack that works. It just doesn’t talk to itself. ProPulse closes the loop — one tenant, one focus, one bill.

One single platform

One platform in place of all six.

A booking page, a calendar, reminders, receipts and ledger exports — all in one place. One login. One subscription. One place to come back to in the morning.

  • A public page on the URL parents already remember
  • A booking flow students send themselves to
  • Recurring weekly slots that release when students leave
  • A ledger that closes itself after every paid lesson
  • Quarterly & annual CSVs that need no retyping
  • Invoices and cancellation notes that the platform owns
  • A look you control, not a template someone else chose

What the platform does

You teach. ProPulse keeps the office out of your evening.

The teachers we onboarded were spending nearly five hours a week on the admin around their lessons — chasing payments, reconciling tabs, keeping two calendars in sync. ProPulse collapses all of that into one workflow so your week stays shaped by the teaching, not the bookkeeping. Three of the things it discontinues:

  1. Stop reconciling five tabs after dinner.

Booking, billing and reminders share a state. One search bar. One export. 'Who paid me most last term' lands in a keystroke instead of a multi-tab ritual.

  2. Stop rebuilding the storefront each fall.

Your public page stays the same year-round; you set the look once and your domain does the rest. Returning students find the new term themselves — no panicked group text required.

  3. Stop letting the calendar eat your free hours.

Recurring weekly slots live inside the platform and free themselves up the moment a student leaves. The ledger is up to date whenever you look at it.

Four workflows

Four features that pay for themselves in the time they save.

We do not charge by add-on. Every teacher pays the same $19.99 and gets the same four workflows. They are the four most teachers cite by name when they tell a friend why they switched.

Feature 1

A booking page students actually use

Your public page is reachable at propulse.app/you or your own domain. The calendar opens on the student's time zone, books them in, confirms them by email and hands back a slot that is yours again.

Feature 2

Reminders that send themselves

ProPulse sends the day-before email, the morning text, and the after-lesson thank-you. Cancellation policy and no-show receipts are part of the same flow. If they still don't show, the lesson lands in the ledger as a no-show, not as a silent loss.

Feature 3

A ledger that closes itself

Stripe, Square, cash and bank transfers all flow into a single ledger. The book closes itself when each lesson is paid. End-of-term reconciliation is a single page, not a Sunday-war-room.

Feature 4

Tax exports without the panic

One CSV by April, one CSV by year-end, both cut the way your accountant likes them. Summarize the year by student, by instrument or by month without retyping into a new spreadsheet first.

Teachers in private beta

Three teachers, three cities, three different instruments.

We opened the private beta with twelve independent music teachers across four cities. The three below agreed to share what changed — bookings, parents, accountants — once ProPulse owned the back room.

Three years in, the part of ProPulse I notice most is what is missing: I don’t chase payments, I lose no time to the between-lesson tab-switching and the spreadsheet is still right in January.

Marco Aldana

Guitar studio · Lisbon, PT

The thing that changed is not the backend. It is what the parents see — a public page that reads as a small business rather than a side project, and that is enough to change how seriously the booking is taken.

Beatrice Okafor

Drum studio · Brooklyn, NY

My accountant has been asking which tool I use. I tell her, and she says she has never seen a teacher’s export come back so clean. April was done in twenty minutes.
